Grandma Ditton in Cheney, WA 10.19.11

A trip to Washington State is not complete until we stop to visit Michael's Grandma, Grandma Ditton in Cheney, Washington outside of Spokane. She's 93 this year and is still as amazing as when I first met her!



We arrived late morning and chatted for a little bit but were both starving so we asked her if she was ready for lunch - yep! Great, now where to? We were both STUNNED when she replied 'Carl's Jr'! I gently tried to change her mind and suggest alternatives but nope, she was set. Carl's Jr it was. Now, I should mention, I still can't bite anything and haven't been to Carl's Jr in forever. But we loaded up into the van - she may be old but she can still get herself in the van!



We visited for quite a while and went back to her place where she showed us some old photographs and family history. We had a great visit and look forward to the next one! :-)



Next stop...Coeur D' Alene, Idaho!
